The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa Guestroom and Corridor Renovation

SCOTTSDALE, AZ

Located in the Sonoran Desert of Scottsdale, The Westin Resort & Spa engaged PWI Construction to transform its 731 guestrooms and corridors for an elevated guest experience. The modern, eco-luxury interior redesigns and enhancements were inspired by the Southwest while preserving the renowned Kierland character.

Inlayed wood patterns speak to the Sonoran Desert. Accent wallcoverings reflect the sun-setting on desert sand, paying homage to the Arizona sunshine – the most prevalent throughout the world.

The guestroom renovation included all finishes and a new FFE package in addition to 32 standalone Casitas which received all new tubs, showers, and full kitchens.

The resort remained open during the renovation and met operations preconstruction/non-adjusted budget.

Cooper Carry’s hospitality design studio served as the architect for the hotel’s guestroom renovation.

Parker Torres Design Designer

The international design and architecture firm led the interior design for the resort’s guestroom renovation.
