David Yurman opens at Los Angeles’ The Grove

The third Los Angeles location took design cues from the brand’s flagship in Paris, incorporating bronzed iron gates and herringbone-patterned stone and marble flooring. Positioned in West Hollywood, this new location expands the brand’s presence on the West Coast.

Upon entering the new space, customers will encounter the brand’s next-generation store design. The entrance is defined by bronzed iron gates inspired by the Paris Flagship, reflecting the herringbone motif on the store’s floor and ceiling. The interior features contrasting stone and marble flooring, along with dedicated heritage wall and millwork, creating a monochromatic palette that showcases the brand’s collections. Custom pendants and mid-century furniture complete the space, providing a residential feel and an intimate experience.

Dominica Garza, PWI Construction Director of Brand and Client Relations, expressed, “We’re proud to be the general contractor for David Yurman’s new location at The Grove. This project represents our 38th engagement with the jewelry brand, spanning over 20 cities domestically. We value our longstanding relationship with the luxury jewelry brand.”

The brand opened its flagship store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills in 2006, followed by a store in Glendale at The Americana at Brand retail center in 2014.

Women in Construction Week 2024

We at PWI Construction are participating in the Women in Construction Week, held from March 3-9, 2024, in partnership with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). The aim of this observance is to recognize women’s important contribution to the construction industry, highlight the opportunities available for women in the industry, and draw attention to the increasing role of women in construction. This week-long event will help NAWIC fulfill its mission of empowering and elevating women in construction to achieve greater success.

Women in Construction Week, also known as WIC Week, is a perfect opportunity to celebrate and support women in the construction industry. NAWIC introduced the first WIC Week in 1998, and it has since grown and evolved each year. Many of our local chapters organize WIC Week events, which can include visiting high schools to give presentations, hosting job site tours, organizing luncheons, and virtual events.

This year’s theme, ‘Keys to the Future,’ emphasizes the strength, knowledge, and vital role that women play in shaping the future of the construction industry.

WIC Week provides NAWIC’s thousands of members across the country with a chance to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in construction and highlight the growing role of women in the industry.

NAWIC chapters throughout the country will celebrate WIC Week with a wide range of activities. Please visit www.nawic.org to find a NAWIC chapter near you.
