Careers at PWI Construction

PWI team group shot

We're Proud of Our Culture

When you're part of PWI Construction, you (and your pets) are part of a family.

Our team is always on the lookout for talented candidates with a great attitude and good work ethic to fill a variety of key positions across the country. When we find the right people to hire, we give them an assessment to find where they would fit best within our organization, and then encourage and support their career and personal development. We give them the tools they need to be successful.

We spend so much of our time together, by choice, that it's imperative we all share a common philosophy of "relationships first" and a dedication to doing things the right way. As a team, we provide the same commitment to quality in every project we take on. We are focused on our three core values – people, integrity and excellence – or p.i.e.

People

  • We are people-centered and client-focused.
  • We value relationships and work hard to develop a strong team.
  • We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; we apply a personalized touch to everything we do.
  • We treat each other with respect and dignity. This extends to our pets too.
  • We share our experiences and mentor each other.

Integrity

  • We do what’s right and keep our word.
  • We believe in setting an example and leading by example.
  • We are committed to getting the job done right.
  • We practice open and honest communication.
  • We don’t bid a job if we don’t have the expertise and are dedicated to saving our clients time and resources.

Excellence

  • We strive for excellence in all we do.
  • We believe in professional development and growth.
  • We are committed to continuous improvement through learning.
  • We deliver value to each other and to our clients.
  • We offer solutions and provide results.

Collectively, these values guide our work with clients, subcontractors, partners and our own employees. Pie is also the preferred indulgence of our employees and management. We're known for giving pies in custom wood boxes to our clients as gifts, and management and staff will have pie in the afternoon a few times a week during meetings.

We value our people more than anything, and celebrate their milestones, achievements and growth. Promoting from within gives our employees incentives to improve with the possibility of moving up the career ladder. That's why many employees have been with us for decades. And that makes us a true family.
