PWI Construction finished a tenant improvement project for renowned jewelry designer David Yurman at NorthPark Center, a luxury shopping destination in Dallas. The expanded boutique, located in a prime corner of the mall, nearly doubled to 3,450 square feet and now reflects the brand’s aesthetic.
Visitors are greeted by a heritage wall in the entrance lobby that narrates the Yurmans’ journey from art to jewelry, featuring examples of David’s early sculptures, wearable art pieces, and current designs. The expansive main sales area includes a seating area with jewel-toned fabrics, a cluster display fixture, and unique custom decorative pendant light fixtures.
The space comprises a combination of high-quality materials, including American walnut, antique brass, travertine, and artisan plasters. Notable features include a men’s jewelry area with a masculine feel created using darker materials and found objects, and a private salon where visitors can discover David Yurman Wedding and High Jewelry collections. A white gold leaf decorative panel with a hand-applied pattern of the Texas State Flower, the Bluebonnet, adds a touch of elegance to the main sales area. The boutique has two interior facades and one exterior façade facing the mall valet entrance, making it a prominent destination for shoppers. The new boutique is second in size only to Madison Avenue’s Townhouse boutique.
