In the heart of Santa Barbara’s downtown business district, Kimpton Canary Santa Barbara underwent a complete refresh of its 97 guestrooms, meeting rooms, restaurant Finch & Fork, lobby, and rooftop terrace. The renovation reflects the charm and elegance of a luxurious Californian estate while embodying the town’s relaxed coastal vibe. The design team blended historic elements, such as original terracotta floors, wooden beams, and wrought iron details, with modern touches like light off-whites, creams, and brass finishes.
Sleep like royalty in Spanish-inspired four-poster wood and rattan canopy beds, and enjoy the playful wall art. The bathrooms are adorned with beautiful Spanish tile.
The iconic signature restaurant Finch & Fork reopened with a transformed look and menu. At five floors with a sixth-floor rooftop pool and terrace, the Kimpton Canary Santa Barbara is one of the tallest structures in Santa Barbara, with views of the city, Santa Ynez Mountains, and the Pacific Ocean.
PWI Construction successfully completed this project on an accelerated schedule.
