Omni Las Colinas Public Spaces

As part of a rebrand from the Omni Mandalay Hotel to the Omni Las Colinas Hotel, the property’s public spaces underwent a renovation. Originally built in 1982 as a Four Seasons hotel, the public spaces have been updated with a new reception area, a modernized lobby and bar, and an upscale market called OTC (Over the Counter).
The sunken lobby seating area was converted into a brand-new 4,600-square-foot lobby bar. The new bar now features a 16-foot-wide and 14-foot-tall free-standing metal arch of oil-rubbed bronze and antique brass, adorned with antique mirrored inserts framed around a single art piece.
We created an opening in the structural concrete slab at the lobby level as part of the transformation process. This allowed us to install stairs leading to the kitchen below, making it convenient for the staff to serve patrons in the new lobby bar. Furthermore, we updated the check-in area with new stone reception desks and modern pendant light fixtures, giving it a fresh and contemporary look.
To round out the conversion, the existing M bar was converted into grab-and-go market OTC, expanding the hotel's dining options.
The hotel remained open during the renovation.
