Steps from the ocean, Viceroy Santa Monica is an icon of the LA beach scene and is acclaimed for style and luxury. The public space renovation ushered in a new era of forward-driven design.

The overhaul included a complete transformation of the common areas, including the lobby, restaurant, outdoor patio, open-air indoor-outdoor wraparound bar and adjacent lounge, and 169 guestrooms and suites.

The renovation brought about an all-new poolside experience; a re-stylized lounge; inspired new meeting spaces, a revamped fitness center; a new indoor-outdoor restaurant, Sugar Palm Ocean Avenue; and a wraparound bar that extends outside.
The renovation brought about an all-new poolside experience; a re-stylized lounge; inspired new meeting spaces, a revamped fitness center; a new indoor-outdoor restaurant, Sugar Palm Ocean Avenue; and a wraparound bar that extends outside.
Inspired by Southern California’s immaculate beach, the new guestroom and suite design brings the shore closer than ever. Mid-century-style furnishings and graphic carpet complement sea-grass-inspired wall coverings. All rooms have a Juliet balcony with western-facing rooms offering guests views of the Pacific Ocean and west coast sunsets.
