PWI Project La Hacienda named the top Mexican restaurant in Arizona

PWI Construction’s roots run deep in Arizona. Although headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, PWI Construction was founded in Arizona and operates a regional office in Scottsdale. With a nationwide portfolio of projects, PWI Construction has a high concentration of projects to name in The Grand Canyon State.

One of our recent projects made the headlines this month. La Hacienda at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess was named the Top Mexican Restaurant for 2020 by AZBigMedia in the Ranking Arizona competition – the state’s biggest and most comprehensive business opinion poll.

The restaurant won favor for its signature flavors and cooking techniques. Patrons cited the establishment’s atmosphere describing it ‘as inviting as the food,’ with rustic architecture warmed by beehive fireplaces and outdoor fire pits.

In 2019, PWI Construction was engaged to update the beloved destination with a fresh look, massive patio upgrade, and a new tequila lounge. The reimagined space features Spanish architecture with flagstone, wood-beamed ceilings, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces.

“Along with spectacular food and the thoughtful ambiance, what I enjoy about this PWI Construction project is that it is in our backyard. It’s an employee and client favorite. We even hosted last year’s annual holiday party at La Hacienda. Seeing the space enjoyed is what we live for,” explains PWI Construction Director of Client Experience Aaron Jewell.
