PWI Construction joins Best Buddies Friendship Walk

PWI Construction is pleased to support Best Buddies Nevada’s 2022 Best Buddies Friendship Walk. The annual fundraising event was held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Henderson, Nevada. Led by the firm’s Culture Committee, a volunteer group comprised of PWI Construction employees charged with planning and organizing community outreach and employee engagement activities throughout the year, PWI Construction raised funds and walked in support of Best Buddies, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is dear to the heart of PWI Construction. We first walked in the annual fundraising event more than five years ago at the request of one of our employees. We are proud to continue the tradition and support a cause so important to us and the community it serves,” explains PWI Construction Sr. Marketing & Communications Manager Dominica Garza.”

With the support of PWI Construction employees, family, and friends, the firm raised more than $600 for Best Buddies Nevada, making us the fifth-highest earning team. Donations to the PWI Construction team are accepted through the end of 2022. To donate, click here.
