Angler & Ale
Duck Key, FL
New ground-up construction of a two-story, 18,000 SF waterfront restaurant building at the 60-acre Hawks Cay Resort, located on Duck Key in the middle Florida Keys situated roughly halfway between Key Largo and Key West. The restaurant features a full bar, a lofted indoor seating area and outdoor patio with ocean views. This was a logistically challenging project due to its fairly remote distance from the mainland and scarce local labor resources. PWI Construction convinced many of our loyal mainland subcontractors to engage. The entire building shell was formed and cast-in-place using 5000PSI concrete. Other construction highlights include a custom-engineered Glu-lam roof structure and a steel cable railing that wraps around all terraces for uninterrupted views.
