PWI Construction has a long history in Arizona. Although headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada, PWI Construction was founded in Arizona 35 years ago and operates a regional office in Scottsdale. With a nationwide portfolio of projects, PWI Construction’s work can be found throughout The Grand Canyon State.
One such project recently made headlines. J&G Steakhouse at The Phoenician was named a Top 10 Steakhouse in Arizona for 2020 by AZBigMedia in the Ranking Arizona competition – the state’s biggest and most comprehensive business opinion poll.
Nestled in the foothills of Camelback Mountain, J&G Steakhouse offers a sophisticated menu of steakhouse classics, award-winning premium meats, and a global selection of seafood with the finest local ingredients and worldly spices.
“The Phoenician is a spectacular property and one that we at PWI Construction have had the honor of working with on a variety of projects throughout the years to include a guestroom renovation of the main building and casitas, full renovation of The Canyon Suites – the only Five Diamond Resort in Phoenix – and and The Tavern/Golf Clubhouse. It comes as no surprise that J&G Steakhouse was named in the state-wide competition; their space, service, and acclaimed menu are a cut above,” explains PWI Construction Director of Brand Dominica Garza.
This is the second consecutive year J&G Steakhouse made the Ranking Arizona list.
PWI Construction completed a refresh and revitalization of the space just in time for its 10-year-anniversary in 2018. Inspired by the desert landscape, the restaurant received all-new interiors, furnishings, décor, and color schemes, as well as new fire pits and ceiling fans on its patio. Other additions included all-new seating, a glass teardrop chandelier suspended over the red onyx stone bar top, and a transformation of the outdoor patio for year-round alfresco dining.
