Las Vegas team volunteers at Catholic Charities

Last month, our Las Vegas office team members volunteered their time and energy at Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada. Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada has served our community’s most vulnerable since 1941. Thanks to the generosity of individual donors, organizations, foundations, and grants, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada runs 16 programs that assist more than 4,000 people daily.

PWI Construction team members took a break from their hectic schedules to volunteer at the non-profit organization’s community meal, serving individuals and families seeking a hot meal. Although the Community Meal is free and open to the public, many of the clients served are experiencing homelessness. Volunteers assisted with setting up the meal, serving guests, sanitizing tables, and cleaning up, among other tasks. In all, volunteers served more than 400 meals.

“We are privileged to offer our support to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, an organization that has a remarkable history of serving the people of Las Vegas. Their dedication and commitment to helping those in need is truly inspiring. We feel honored to be part of their mission,” PWI Construction Sr. Marketing & Communications Manager Dominica Garza explains.

This event was organized by PWI Construction’s Culture Committee, a volunteer group of team members from various office locations and departments who come together to plan charitable giving activities and employee engagement initiatives to support the firm’s mission of giving back to the communities where we live and work.
