PWI Construction project Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Privado Villas was selected as a finalist in the hospitality category of the annual competition. Arizona’s largest and longest-running AAA Five Diamond hotel replaced their casitas with the Privado Villas, 119 residential-style suites. Named after the Spanish word for “private,” the Privado Villas offer a new ultra-luxe class of rooms for the hotel. The new amenity-packed villas dubbed a “hotel within a hotel” are comprised of 14 pods on the west end of the 65-acre Scottsdale resort.

PWI Construction project Tía Carmen was selected as a finalist in the restaurant category. Situated inside the AAA 4-Diamond JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa, Tía Carmen restaurant is Celebrity Chef Angelo Sosa’s first restaurant in Arizona. The restaurant space, formerly occupied by Stone Grill – also constructed by PWI Construction – was completely renovated to usher in the new concept.
