Lodging Conference brings together hospitality leaders

The Lodging Conference is one of the most prominent events in the hotel industry across the globe. For 29 years, this conference has attracted tens of thousands of influential hotel owners and executives worldwide. During this event, the industry’s top owners, operators, presidents, CEOs, investors, and dealmakers come together to discuss development, finance, franchising, management, construction, design, and operations.

“The hosts of the Lodging Conference deserve our gratitude for organizing such a first-class event that brings together the finest minds in hospitality. This annual gathering is one that we eagerly anticipate, as it offers unparalleled opportunities for learning, networking, and growth,” Director of Brand Dominica Garza explains.

We are delighted to participate in this premier event that takes place at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge in Phoenix, Arizona, a PWI Construction project location. We attended the sold-out event to re-establish connections with current clients and partners and establish new relationships. It was an excellent chance to gain insights into the state of the industry and network.

The Lodging Conference is unlike any other industry event, offering three days of continuous opportunities to network, enjoy gourmet food, leisure activities, a casual dress code and atmosphere, and the presence of senior-level developers and executives from the hospitality industry. In 2023, TLC was the world’s largest industry conference with over 2,700 attendees.

Las Vegas team volunteers at YMCA

Our Las Vegas office teamed up with the YMCA of Southern Nevada to build supply kits for at-risk youth who are part of the academic intervention program. This initiative was part of the United Way of Southern Nevada’s yearly Day of Caring, which brought together community members to support one another.

“We want to express our deep appreciation for our team members who took time out of their day to support this cause, and for our leadership team who encouraged group volunteering in our community,” explains Director of Brand Dominica Garza. We are proud to give back to the communities where we live and work, and it is our honor to be part of such a compassionate community.

The academic intervention program is designed to support young people who have faced challenges with their educational outcomes and social-emotional health. These students come from low-income neighborhoods and Title I schools, and we recognize the difficulties they face daily. That’s why we at PWI Construction are committed to supporting them and their families through the creation of these supply kits, and we are humbled by the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.
