Your Ultimate Guide to Scottsdale, Arizona

From the resorts to the shopping and delicious food, Scottsdale, Arizona has a lot to offer. Jettsetter’s Anna Petrow covers the 13 things you should do in Phoenix’s sister city, including visiting our projects Andaz Scottsdale Resort and Spa and Four Seasons Troon North.

Andaz Scottsdale Resort and Spa

“A work of art in its own right, the just-opened Andaz Scottsdale partnered with local craftspeople to provide pieces for the resort—everything from the mugs at breakfast to paintings around the property are handmade. Each suite is its own minimalist casita, perfect for a quiet escape. Just steps away you’ll find the most pristine pool in Scottsdale.”

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North

“Further north than most of Scottsdale’s resorts, the Four Seasons feels like a true Western getaway. Gorgeous casitas feature adobe-style gas fireplaces, hand-woven Huichol yarn art and a deck that overlooks the cacti and boulder landscape.”

Lightkeepers, Miami

Lightkeepers is an oceanfront restaurant and bar that brings the history of Key Biscayne Island to life. The restaurant got it’s name from the stalwart “Guardian of the Light”, who watched over ships along the Florida Coast. Located in the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne in Miami, Lightkeepers is a beacon for foodies and craft cocktail aficionados. Far from exclusive, Lightkeepers’ lamp burns bright for all who need a place to rest, recharge, or revel.

Take a look through some photos from the project, and learn more about Lightkeepers here .

Best Buddies Friendship Walk, April 2017

PWI’s Las Vegas team was proud to take part in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk for the second year in a row last month. Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the number one walk in the country, and raises awareness to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Since the walk’s inception in 2009, more than 70,000 participants in 46 cities have walked to raise awareness for inclusion, friendship, leadership, and opportunity for people with disabilities.

Our participation would not have been possible without our amazing Assistant Estimator, Karie Godzik, who helped organize our team. You can learn more about Karie in her Employee Spotlight on our Facebook page.
