Hotel Talisa Rebrand and Renovation
Vail, CO
PWI Construction was engaged to provide a full guestroom, public space, restaurant, bar, and spa renovation at this luxurious ski-in/ski-out resort hotel in the Rockies as it rebranded from the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa to the Hotel Talisa (now known as the Grand Hyatt Vail). No areas of the 285-room property were left untouched during this massive undertaking.
Influenced by the area's surrounding mountains and history, the hotel's contemporary guest rooms and common areas now offer guests an elevated modern retreat with clean lines, gentle curves and subdued patterns with rich wood, stone and leather textures. Each suite's parlor has a seating area and a 46-inch flat-screen TV, and the bathrooms offer an oversized-glass rainfall shower; select suites also include a freestanding soaker tub.
The resort's new spas sits an an elevation of 8,150 feet and features 10 treatment rooms, indoor/outdoor lounge areas, steam baths and salt-infused saunas.
