PWI Construction has completed the $30 million total property renovation of the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. On Friday 04/19/13, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley walked the property and cut the ribbon at the Grand Opening ceremonies. PWI is proud to have been a part of a project that was completed in record time, 13.5 months after design started. PWI Construction has been awarded DaiqiriLicious, a 360 SF - Vegas style beverage and bar venue - located on the premises of Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

PWI Construction is proud to announce the award of Kate Spade, an approx 1,800 SF retail buildout.

After 16 years, Drai's After Hours nightclub located at Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon has come to an end.  But as nightlife kingpin Victor Drai himself has promised, the party will live on as plans are in the works for a new club.  Drai's is temporarily moving operations to Bally's Hotel & Casino, and PWI Construction has been awarded the construction of this 6,500 SF club location.  This will be a short term home while Drai's previous building is transformed into a new, chic boutique hotel reportedly to be ran by the swank Gansevoort Hotel from Manhattan’s trendy and hip Meatpacking District.  Below are images from Drai's Las Vegas club in the past.  The future will surely keep loyal clientele coming back for more, as rumors call for a rooftop daytime pool club in addition to the new nightclub. Drai's also has another club, located in LA within the W Hollywood.

PWI Construction has been awarded general contracting and construction management services to renovate the historic Traymore Hotel, a 1939 iconic building, located in Miami's art deco district of South Beach. This approx $20mil total property rejuvenation into a ultra luxury boutique hotel will include 74 suites, a ground and rooftop pool, full spa, restaurant, lobby bar, beachside cabanas and retail venues.  PWI has partnered with COMO Hotels and Resorts to bring their first property to North America.  Below are some design renderings of the past, and the future of what's to come.

PWI Construction has completed the Model Rooms for the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort in Tucson, AZ.  Preconstruction Services will continue until approx May 2013 when the full $4 million, 575 guestroom and corridor project will begin.  The project Designer, Forrest Perkins based in San Francisco, has incorporated images of desert landscape found on the resort premise, such as Ocotillo and Agave inspired pattern carpets in the guestrooms and corridors, to framed photography artwork of the mighty Saguaro cacti that reside in abundance on every hillside.

Continuing a trend among several of Hilton Head Island's large hotels, The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa today will unveil the first 120 of 412 guest rooms scheduled for renovation.

PWI Construction is about halfway through a $30-million, seven-stage makeover that will include a redesign of the entrance, lobby, meeting spaces, restaurants and bars at the island's second-largest hotel.

"The Westin Hilton Head Island at one time in the '90s was a five-star property, and what we're doing is repositioning it to compete again as a five-star resort," said Skip James , the resort's director of sales and marketing. "This will allow us to regain our prominence as the premier luxury vacation destination resort."

PWI is proud to annouce the completion of a 3250 SF interior renovation and new storefront of the Tiffany & Co located at Westfield's University Town Center, located in La Jolla, CA.  This is one of several Tiffany retail stores from around the country that PWI will be completing this month, just in time for the holiday season!

PWI has begun the guestroom renovation at Wigwam Resort, located in the western suburbs of Phoenix in Litchfield Park.  Phase 1 includes 120 rooms, of an approximate 300+ room project.  This unique property comprised of adobe styled villas, has a very southwestern vibe that is a favorite amongst visiting professional sports teams and avid golfers.  Below, are the model room pictures.

PWI has just completed another Emporio Armani store build-out inside Santa Monica Place Mall, California.  This 2984 SF project is a new addition to a recently revamped shopping center that continues to grow.  Below are pictures from the grand opening!
